Minohealth AI labs, one of the setups of Tech and AI expert, Darlington Akogo has launched AI called Moremi to provide excellent healthcare services. According to the founder, Moremi AI is the world’s first general purpose AI for health.
One can access Moremi by creating account with Minohealth Ai Labs. You would be asked if you’re a health seeker, medical student or health worker. This will help Moremi to give you unique service tailored to your needs. Institutions can go into partnership with Moremi Ai by requesting the platform’s API so that they can integrate it into their systems as well.
Moremi with its current Beta version can diagnose sicknesses and diseases as well as prescribing suitable treatments or remedies. It’s a medical assistant with knowledge across all major medical specialties.
It can tell the chemical properties of drugs and many more. It can also offer differential diagnosis and interpret medical images. Also knowledgeable in biology and several other fields including computer science, finance, and many more.
To make it more interesting, it has two-step verification procedure to secure a user’s info from being fetched by third parties
And just like any AI invention, Minohealth’s baby, Moremi has some limitations as well. It may occasionally generate incorrect information
Also it has limited knowledge of world and events after 2023 because of the data used to train it.
Mr. Akogo revealed that the setup, Minohealth AI LAbs spent about years working on Moremi AI product.
The Minohealth AI Labs believes that the ratio of doctors to patients in Africa is outrageous with numbers ranging from 1:11k to 1:60k. Therefore, they are strongly putting effort in place to bridge the gap between Africans and quality, affordable healthcare. This is the major reason Moremi AI came into play.
Talking about his achievement, the founder revealed that he was excited for the invention.
