Does your internet data bundle exhaust rapidly? I guess so. Many people experience this kind of frustration. Both postpaid and prepaid users complain about how a data plan they have purchased just run out from their device.
To most people, there is data saving feature on their mobile phones of which they have turned on. Yet, they spend on internet data bundle more than necessary.
Anytime they switch on their data, they start receiving notifications from almost all the apps on the phone. Then, the next thing is the phone becomes hot while the battery keeps draining rapidly.
When you start experiencing this, it means you have not restricted apps on your phone from running at the background. So immediately you turn on your internet data, all the apps on your phone start to run and that’s a threat to the bundle.
If an app is running on the background, it means you’re not actively using that app. So imagine if you have 20 apps on the phone, and you’re using one; WhatsApp to chat. If you haven’t restricted apps from running at the background, all the remaining 19 will still run.
Briefly, this affects the mobile phone in three ways. This includes battery usage, rapid data consumption, and rapid consumption of RAM and Memory. This can slow down the performance of the phone.
So, how do one turn on the restrict background data feature in order to save internet data bundle?
